I have 12 years of tutoring experience, and I focused in particular on students with math anxieties and attention issues. I take great pride in helping students who are capable of succeeding in math find the subjects attainable. I attended St. John's College for my bachelor's degree in liberal arts, which combines math, laboratory science, political science, theology, language, literature, music, and philosophy. Coursework included non-Euclidean geometry, quantum theory, electrodynamics, and others. I'm dedicated to helping students become motivated to achieve their full potential academically, and I'm excited to work with new students to help them reach their goals. I can tutor subjects such as algebra, biology through the college level, English through the college level, essays to the college level, ecology, environmental science, ESL and English language learning, essay writing and editing, life sciences, pre-algebra, writing, middle school math, and other related subjects. I have many satisfied clients credit me with turning them around from not believing in themselves to exceeding their own expectations and developing confidence in their abilities as students. In my spare time, I enjoy entertaining others, listening to music, writing, traveling whenever possible, reading, and art.
