In order to be a strong tutor, you have to love to learn as well! That ideal describes me perfectly. Through my many hobbies such as math, theatre, and singing, I am constantly proving that continuing to learn new things is important. My favorite part about education is the moment where the dots connect and a new concept sinks in for a student. I myself have experienced this many times, and hope to bring to those I tutor. It's a bonus when I find the subjects wildly interesting as well! I recently finished my degree at George Washington University. While I was there I studied Chemistry and Theatre, but my favorite subject to teach is Algebra since I enjoyed learning it in my own way. I'm also ready to share my knowledge in subjects like Physics, Calculus, and even Spanish! One on one tutoring is especially satisfying for me since it allows for discovering new ways of teaching and learning with each individual. I believe taking the time to discover those ways is key to each student's success. I take this approach in other areas of my life, such as leading Segway Tours throughout my city! I look forward to helping the educational magic happen.
