I went to Mercyhurst University for my bachelor's degree in biology on the premed track. My concentration was neuroscience. I'm now attending Aberdeen University as a medical student, and I love science and medicine more and more everyday. I have five years of experience as a tutor, and I worked with students at all ages and levels of ability. Learning is different for every student, so I first like to connect with my students and get to know them. From there, I modify my teaching approach to meet their needs and learning style. My students don't enjoy the sciences because they think they're too hard or boring, so I present the material in different ways and include activities to make concepts easier to understand and more fun to learn. When I have free time, I like to travel, run, and cook.
