Throughout my time in college I have had a lot of ups and downs and I was only able to make it as far as I have because of everyone that supported me, and so I would return everyone else's kindness by helping others in the same way I was helped. As a project for Mechanics and Materials, I worked in a group of four in order to create a code that would calculate the deformation of an underground pipe due to uneven soil. Although we have completed the class, we are still working on the code and giving the finished project to the Baltimore Water Treatment Plant.

I have participated in various activities. Throughout high school I was on the wrestling and volleyball team. In the fall, I will be the Treasurer of the Unmanned Air Vehicles Club and Membership Chair of the National Society of Black Engineers. Last summer I interned at Howard University and worked on circuitry. This summer I will be interning at the FDA. I am a very patient person and rarely do I ever lose my temper. There is no point in causing permanent damage to due a temporary emotion such as anger. All in all I am very down to earth person.
