I just finished my second year as a student at the University of Maryland, College Park. I'm currently seeking a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. I am also currently enrolled in the Honors program at UMD. I will graduate in 2018, and I am going to pursue a Master's in education afterwards, with an emphasis in secondary mathematics education.

SAT score of 2250 33 credits from AP/IB exams, including -AP NSL -AP Physics C -AP Spanish Language -AP Computer Programming -AP Calculus BC -IB History HL -IB English HL -IB Physics SL -IB Spanish 7 HL I have also taken numerous courses in college in Spanish, Physics, Literature, Musicology, Programming, and Writing; however, the majority of my coursework has been in Mathematics, as that is my major. I helped to tutor my mother in Statistics when she was taking courses for a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree a couple years ago. I also help my classmates as often as I can by explaining concepts to them when they do not understand. I want to be a tutor because I enjoy learning, and I hope to use my passion to inspire the same love of knowledge in others. Some of the most influential and respected people in my life have been my teachers; I would like to repay my community for giving me such a good education by giving back through tutoring and teaching.
