Graduated in May 2014 from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, with a degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in English and a Minor in Spanish. Received Magna Cum Laude with a GPA of 3.74 and received Dean's and Chancellor's List for outstanding academics.
Experience
Successfully completed two years of teaching elementary in school in DC in June of 2016. I have over 500 hours of classroom experience teaching grades k-6 during my undergraduate studies. I tutored college students in Spanish, psychology and political science. I also tutored elementary students who were not meeting state requirements in their grade level in reading and math. I have worked in small and large groups. I taught figure skating for 6 years during my high school career. I have a teaching license in both DC and NC. I want to be a tutor because I love helping students understand and reach their fullest potential. I am patient and willing to try different ways for someone to understand something.
