I am a tutor with a broad range of expertise and many years of experience. I am a Nationally Board Certified teacher, and I have worked at Montgomery County and Prince George's County public schools in Maryland for over thirteen years. My academic and professional experience has given me the tools to provide a positive and beneficial learning environment. Every student has the capacity to learn, and I individualize my lesson plans to each student's needs. The key to success is providing the skills necessary for each student to succeed on their own, bolstering their confidence, encouraging critical thinking, and learning multiple ways to solve problems. I tutor many different subjects, though mathematics is my passion. Some of the subjects I teach are Reading, Writing, Mathematics, English, and Test Preparation. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Science, with a minor in Elementary Education as well as a Master of Art in Educational Administration from Trinity Washington University in DC. I also hold a Master of Art in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment from Walden University. In my free time, I enjoy watching a good movie, watching sports, and reading.
