Private tutor in Silver Spring, MD

Duke Univeristy - BSE, Mechanical Engineering

I live in Silver Springs, Maryland, and I like tutoring the subjects of physics and math. The different math and science topics that I can tutor are elementary and middle school math, geometry, trigonometry, algebra 1 and 2, pre-calculus, and computer science. Additionally, I can also competently tutor in prep test subjects, including PSAT, SAT writing and math, SAT critical reading, and advance placement courses. Since I am good at taking different types of tests, I can also help students with test prep. So students can do well on these exams, I teach them how to develop good study skills and use a variety of test-taking strategies. By answering test questions appropriately, students may be able to ace these exams. I graduated from Montgomery Blair High School, which is located in Silver Springs. I attended Duke University, and I went on to receive my degree in engineering in 2010. While at Duke, I worked as a teaching assistant during some semesters. My duties included helping fellow students in different engineering and material science courses. I also received a master's degree in engineering from England's Cambridge University. I am currently an engineer. During my leisure time, I enjoy being outdoors, reading, and kickball. I also am a photography enthusiast.
