EducationUniversity of Virginia-Main Campus - BA, Government , Howard University School of Law - Juris Doctorate, Law
ExperienceI graduated from Howard University Law School and I got my BA in Government and African-American Studies from the University of Virginia, Charlottesville. After I graduated, I worked for four months to prepare myself to sit the New York bar exam. I am presently waiting for the results. I have taught a wide range of students from many different social and economic backgrounds. I have taught in classrooms and tutored individual students. I believe I can supply the help and guidance that my pupils need to succeed. While I can teach a wide array of subjects, my favorites are Early Math, US History, Writing, and Government. It is important for students to choose a tutor who knows the information, but who is also competent at conveying that information, and that's where I excel.I also teach Algebra I, Elementary Math, Middle School Math, Pre-Algebra, Spanish, Reading, Essay Editing, Grammar and Mechanics, College Essays, American History, Study Skills and Organization, AP Comparative Government and Politics, AP United States History, Social Studies, English, Spanish I, and Test Prep.I also tutor students to help them prepare for the SAT. I teach such SAT subjects as Mathematics Level 1, United States History, and World History. When not teaching I enjoy reading, music, and visiting museums.
