I believe language and history are not only essential components of a solid education, but they can be fun in the right hands. I have a widespread passion for history. I am an expert on medieval Europe, and I am well acquainted with early modern American and European history as well. I enjoy discussing time periods such as the reformation, the renaissance, and colonization. I am equipped to tutor in more recent American history as well. My specialty is in medieval Iberia, which was a complex tapestry of war, religion, and politics. It includes fascinating and rich subject matter. Aside from history, I enjoy helping students in their language arts studies. I am a well-studied Spanish linguist myself; I earned my Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas in Spanish and history. Currently, I am completing my thesis as a candidate for my Master of Arts from George Washington University. I am proficient in the Spanish language, and I am happy to support students as they learn the intricacies of the language. As a tutor, I can work with any high school Spanish coursework. My experience in the arts includes literature, sociology, writing, and linguistics. When I'm not in school or tutoring, I enjoy reading, writing, and sports.
