Experience
I have taught social studies for 7 years and have tutored students in AP World History as well as general social studies courses. I have also worked with a variety of students on coursework ranging from grades 6-12 and have developed organizational and study skills programs as well. I enjoy teaching and am hoping to extend my experiences beyond the classroom through tutoring opportunities. I'm interested in incorporating students' various learning styles into tutoring; there's only so many methods that can be employed in one class period so I see tutoring sessions as a way to look at content in a new format or activity.
